In this episode of Beyond The Cab, Host Tim Chrulski invites Garner Drivers, Dalton Lee and Jacob Szabo, participants of the FMCSA's Safe Driver Apprenticeship Pilot Program (SDAP), in to speak about their experience and how they have kickstarted their career in trucking at a young age.  
With just 13 apprentices enrolled nationwide in the SDAP, Dalton & Jacob's stories shed a light on the opportunities for young talent in the industry, highlighting the importance of programs like SDAP in shaping the future of trucking.
Despite their age, these drivers bring passion, dedication, and a fresh perspective to the road!

Garner Drivers, Brian Wildman & Andy Narine on to discuss the creation and

heart behind the Garner Band. They emphasize the diversity within the trucking

industry and aim to change public perceptions through the universal language of

music. The band serves as a platform for drivers and staff to pursue their

musical passions and provides a sense of community among drivers, staff and

their families. Brian & Andy are on a mission to recruit more members to

join the band, highlighting the supportive environment that fosters growth and

creativity. They will touch on the band's progress, the challenges posed by

members being spread out and exciting future collaborations!

With so many forms of technology available it was important to develop a program that could truly recognize drivers based on performance.
