Garrett opens up about homelessness and the homeless communities in LA and how he felt called to add his own unique solution and voice to this humanitarian issue. Garrett talks about his work mentoring entrepreneurs by helping them align their purpose and passions. Garrett says the first step is creating a compelling origin story to share with investors that has depth, clarity and evokes emotion. Garrett also touches on the importance of healing when we become entrepreneurs, as many entrepreneurs' passions are derived in the mission of creating solutions for issues they struggled with in their ecosystems and answering the call of healing humanity, one person at a time.
