Garry Tan, President and CEO of Y Combinator, participated in a discussion with Economic Club Officer Teresa Carlson, Board Member of General Catalyst, on the culture of innovation and risk-taking in startups.

In their conversation, Tan explained the success of their startup accelerator program as seen in their track record with around 5.5% of its accelerated startups achieving unicorn status.
