He’s a co-founder & the medical director of Empowered Endings in San Diego, where
they’re dedicated to supporting patients & families through major health & life challenges, especially as the end of life approaches. As an Emergency Physician for 25 years, he witnessed the gaps in our healthcare system firsthand, & his growing concern about patients’ quality of life and ability to influence their own treatment drove him to transition to Palliative & Hospice Care.
