I enjoy interviewing elected officials for many reasons, but more so because I think it's a good way to inform people about what is going on. But I really enjoy interviewing candidates, because not only can I get people informed, but it helps to get people involved and motivated to vote. My enthusiasm for this process is noticeable, because I want people to be more connected. I think this interview will help everyone notice the qualifications and characteristics that Representative Gary M. Carter Jr. District 102 has to run for State Senator. In this interview I get to interview both an already elected official, and someone running for office.
