Having a solid understanding of Sevoflurane is, as you might expect, quite important for the FRCA primary and your career. as it is likely the most commonly used volatile anaesthetic agent, at least in the UK.

It might find itself adjacent to a Desflurane or Isoflurane vaporiser, and compared to these a few properties stand out, its the smoothest option for Gas Induction, it has the least offensive global warming potential, and has reasonable onset/offset (Although, Desflurane is a winner here, n.b. polar bears are very allergic to Desflurane)
