After surviving cancer, Hawke co-wrote a play called Norm vs Cancer which has been a success on an international level and lead him to do laughter workshops with hospitals across Canada. He is the author of Kicking Cancer's Ass. Deborah Kimmett, has been a comic for 30 years and is a popular performer on CBC Radio ( The Debaters) and travels across North America on the speaker circuit especially communication in health care. She has a video called Talking To Sick People Both have years of personal experience with loss and experience on how to deal with uncertainty with grace and humour.
