In 1997 acclaimed screenwriter Andrew Niccol made his directorial debut with "Gattaca," an elegant vision of a future where humans control their genetic makeup. A dystopian harbinger of the way we live now, it's been relegated to the zone of forgotten masterpieces only a few die hard film buffs remember. In this episode of Breaking the 180 we look at the ideas of "Gattaca," its special design and lasting influence on newer works like David Cronenberg's "Crimes of the Future."
