தந்நோ தந்தி ப்ரசோதயாத்

Meaning Of Ganesh Gayatri Mantra We offer our prayers to the God having a single-tusked elephant tooth who is omnipresent. We are His devotee who meditate and pray for be blessed with greater intellect from the Lord having a curved, elephant-shaped trunk. We bow before the deity to empower and enlighten our minds with wisdom.

ஓம் தத்புருஷாய வித்மஹே

மஹா சேநாய தீமஹி

தந்நோ சண்முக: ப்ரசோதயாத்

Om thathpurushaya vidmahe

Maha senaya theemahi thanno shanmuga prachodayat

Meaning :

Om, Let me meditate on that great male,

Oh, commander in chief, give me higher intellect,

And let the six faced one illuminate my mind.

Nārāyana Gāyatri Mantra

Om Narayanaya Vidhmahe

Vasudevaya Dheemahe

Thanno Viṣṇu Prachodayath.

Om, Let me meditate on Lord Narayana,

Oh, Lord Vasudeva, give me higher intellect,

And let Lord Viṣṇu illuminate my mind
