This week's episode of the Heathen’s Guide to Life was inspired by the story of Nigel Shelby, the 15-year-old Alabama high school student who tragically took his own life after experiencing anti-gay bullying.

Nigel reminded the brothers of their respective coming out stories and the challenges (and trauma) that followed.

With suicide prevention in mind, the heathens are opening up about how they managed to prevail, despite the obstacles, and eventually found their #gayboyjoy
