The Israeli assault on the besieged Gaza Strip enters its sixth day and reports of intense bombings of apartments buildings, schools, hospitals and business continue to roll in. The majority of Gazans have little to no electricity, water supplies have been cut and supplies are not getting through. Entire neighbourhoods have been decimated and the remains of those killed are scattered in the streets, according to eyewitnesses.
