Over the weekend, the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development partner with civil organizations in Krugersdorp to engage on gender-based violence. A year ago, West Village was the site of a gang rape that saw eight women violated. The aim of this engagement was to empower the community through sharing the new legislation surrounding sexual offenses and services available to those who affected by gender-based violence.
