Hello, and welcome to another episode of The Good, The Bad, and The What!? The show in which we discuss three films that we have deemed "good," "bad," or "what!?" within a subgenre, theme, motif, director or actor's filmography, and more!
This week, Ryan, Jordan, and Chris start off by paying their respects to the late, great David Lynch before getting into the episode proper. In lieu of doing a full Lynch retrospective (as we want to save some of his films for other episodes), we decided to put our tribute into a framework that would also be fun, so we are bringing back the fan-favorite "Cage Match" episode. The binding thread is three Nicolas Cage performances under auteur filmmakers, which in this case is of course Lynch's "Wild at Heart" (1990), as well as lengthy discussions on Martin Scorsese's "Bringing Out the Dead" (1999) and Werner Herzog's "Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans" (2009).
You can find this and future episodes - as well as subscribe to our show - on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, iHeartRadio, and more! Feel free to email us at [email protected] if you have any questions, comments, or just want to say hello. You can follow us on Instagram @thegoodbadwhat.
