The Good, The Bad, and The What!?

GBW #43: Citizen Krang (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles / Theodore Rex / Kung Fu Rascals)

Listen Later

Hello, and welcome to another episode of The Good, The Bad, and The What!? The show in which we discuss three films that we have deemed "good," "bad," or "what!?" within a subgenre, theme, motif, director or actor's filmography, and more!

This week, Ryan and Chris dive into the small pocket in the '90s where the niche rubber suit/animatronic and martial arts kid flick subgenre ran rampant, launched by one specific pop culture behemoth and our "Good" pick this week: 1990's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." Then, we swing into the notorious 1995 straight-to-video stinker "Theodore Rex," before finishing off with the goofy, occasionally transcendent in its strangeness (but also quite grating at times) 1992 oddity, "Kung Fu Rascals."
