Just in case you thought it couldn't get more complicated, well, here it is. I begin to regret my self-imposed obsession of trying to get 90 minutes worth of material into ten minutes...

Two brothers, two pillars, two Middos. Two rogue prophets. Two lips. Two perfectly balanced letters.

From Moshe's being pulled out of the water, he seems to have been condemned to remain outside of the Promised land. It was indicated even then. But when Moshe heard those words, as we indicated previously, he may have prayed up until a point. Yet, he set a boundary to his lips, his words - his Teivos - the place where it all began (referring to the teiva he was placed in and removed from, and 'arks back to the original teiva - of Noach... add into the mix the fact that teiva also means 'word' - guarded by the two lips).

Together with his brother Aharon, who also did not merit entry into the land, we had protectors, role models and eternal guides for the Jewish people  - wherever they may be. They took the people who began as a group of 70 indivduals, at a low point on their spiritual awakening. 

Perhaps that is why we need them to be outside of Israel - to guide us here too - where the light is much dimmer.
