The Rev. Dr. Ruth Meyers is an alternate deputy from the Diocese of California and dean of academic affairs and Hodges-Haynes Professor of Liturgics at Church Divinity School of the Pacific. She served on the Standing Commission on Liturgy and Music from 2008-2015, and was appointed to the Task Force on the Study of Marriage in 2015.
