As I sit here in my Duke Blue Devils jersey, I can't help but feel the electricity in the air. March Madness is upon us, and the excitement is palpable. Our Blue Devils have been on fire lately, securing the top spot in the AP rankings with a stellar 28-3 record. Coach Scheyer has really stepped into Coach K's shoes, hasn't he?
But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Houston and Auburn are hot on our heels, both with impressive 27-4 records. I've got to hand it to Bruce Pearl and Kelvin Sampson - they've got their teams playing some seriously good basketball.
Speaking of good basketball, have you seen Eric Dixon from Villanova? The guy's averaging 23.5 points per game! It's like he can't miss. And don't even get me started on Ryan Nembhard from Gonzaga - nearly 10 assists per game? That's just ridiculous.
Oh, and did you catch that wild ending between Stanford and Louisville? I was on the edge of my seat! Chucky Hepburn with that clutch shot - talk about March magic coming early.
