In an extended episode of the Geektown Radio podcast this week, Matt from Entertainment Talk joins me to chat through the last seven days on UK TV, film, and gaming, alongside the usual TV news and UK TV air dates, PLUS we also go through a post "TV Bloodbath" analysis.

Unable to kick his Apple TV+ addiction, Matt begins with a review of their new shows 'Shining Girls', a thriller starring Elisabeth Moss, and 'The Essex Serpent', a period gothic romance starring Claire Danes and Tom Hiddleston. Meanwhile, I chat through new Netflix show 'The Lincoln Lawyer' from David E. Kelly, and we both discuss the comedy 'How I Met Your Father', which landed last week on Disney+ UK.

Over in the TV news, things are a little different this week. Last Thursday was what we refer to as the annual "TV Bloodbath" day, when the five big US networks cancel and renew all the shows on their services. This year it was extremely bloody, but most of it came from one very surprising source! We run through all the shows which failed to make it, and those shows which will be returning on The CW, NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX.
