We are back with a new episode of the Geektown Radio podcast, and I'm joined by Darryl from Hollywood North News in the co-host chair to chat through and review the week on UK TV, alongside the usual TV news and UK TV air dates.

Darryl returns for his first show of 2023 and kicks things off with a sci-fi book review! You may or may not be aware of the prolific author Brandon Sanderson, who currently holds the record for the most successful Kickstarter in the history of the platform. During the lockdown, Sanderson crafted four books, known as "Surprise! Four Secret Novels", the first of which has just been released. As a huge fan of his work, Darryl reviews the first release of the four. He also chats about a couple of Korean Netflix releases - revenge thriller series 'The Glory (Part 1)', and sci-fi movie 'Jung-E'. Meanwhile, I chat through another Netflix show, the comedy sequel series 'That '90s Show', and Apple TV+ musical-comedy 'Schmigadoon!'

In the news, we run through all the renewals, cancellations and pick-ups such as 'NCIS: Los Angeles', 'Cobra Kai' and 'Outlander' all coming to an end. We also chat about a couple of interesting upcoming Apple TV+ series, and casting for both ‘Alex Rider’ Season 3, and 'Only Murders In The Building' Season 3.
