While traveling on vacation, something unexpected happened to my wife at the Denver airport women's restroom. In this week's gospel reading from the lectionary, Jesus healed the woman bent over by an unfriendly spirit. She was then able to stand tall and see more of the world than the tiny square of ground under her own feet. What will it take for us to rise up, and see one another without judging?
