Gender is the most extensively investigated issues in social science. Although so much has been recorded pertaining to gender, gender inequality remains an overwhelming injustice of our age, and the biggest human rights challenge we face. The continued existence of gender-based inequality is alarming considering changes in formal and informal norms in society today.
