This week, we covered Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined by Stephenie Meyer in the SAME ROOM. We know we said we were done with Twilight but we just could not resist talking about it again for our first in-person episode! We have way too much fun terrorizing Cameron with the gender bent Twilight character names and Gaia admits they are now a full blown Twilight Stan. Somehow the misogyny of the original books does a complete 180 in this version and becomes possibly the most feminist thing Stephenie Meyer has ever written. We have a special guest for Harris’s Hot Take, Gaia and Neeta hash out the implications of traditional gender roles on the Twilight series as a whole, and so much more, this week on ‘Bitch, Why?’.
