“If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” — Psalm 11:3

The foundations are shaking. Our families, churches, communities, and nation are facing battles that can leave Christians wondering, “What are we supposed to do?”

Psalm 11 doesn’t call God’s people to panic, hide, complain, or give up. It calls us to faithfulness.

In this episode of the Jesus Focus Podcast with Gene McCoy Ministries, we look at three things the righteous can do when the foundations are being destroyed:

GET RIGHT WITH GOD.
Before we try to straighten everybody else out, revival needs to begin in our own hearts.

GET UP AND GET INVOLVED.
David didn’t ask what the righteous could say—he asked what the righteous could do. Be salt. Be light. Serve somebody. Encourage somebody. Tell somebody about Jesus. Put some shoe leather on your faith!

Welcome to the Jesus Focus Podcast, where we turn our attention away from the distractions of this world and put our focus where it belongs—on Jesus Christ.
Today, we’re looking at one of the most dramatic encounters in all of Scripture: the day Saul met Jesus on the road to Damascus.
Saul started that journey determined to stop the followers of Jesus. He had authority in his hand, anger in his heart, and a destination in mind. But before Saul could reach Damascus, Jesus stopped him in his tracks.
Acts 9:4–5 says, “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?” And Saul asked the most important question a person can ever ask: “Who art thou, Lord?”
The answer changed everything: “I am Jesus.”
Saul got up from that encounter a different man. His plans changed. His direction changed. His purpose changed. Eventually, even his reputation would change. Why? Because you cannot truly encounter Jesus and remain the same.
Maybe today you're traveling your own road. You have your plans, your destination, and your ideas about how life is supposed to go. But what happens when Jesus meets you on your road?
