“If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” — Psalm 11:3
The foundations are shaking. Our families, churches, communities, and nation are facing battles that can leave Christians wondering, “What are we supposed to do?”
Psalm 11 doesn’t call God’s people to panic, hide, complain, or give up. It calls us to faithfulness.
In this episode of the Jesus Focus Podcast with Gene McCoy Ministries, we look at three things the righteous can do when the foundations are being destroyed:
GET RIGHT WITH GOD.
Before we try to straighten everybody else out, revival needs to begin in our own hearts.
GET ON YOUR KNEES.
We’ve complained enough, argued enough, and worried enough. Spiritual battles require spiritual weapons. It’s time to pray!
GET UP AND GET INVOLVED.
David didn’t ask what the righteous could say—he asked what the righteous could do. Be salt. Be light. Serve somebody. Encourage somebody. Tell somebody about Jesus. Put some shoe leather on your faith!
And don’t miss the great truth of Psalm 11:4:
The foundations may be shaking—but God’s throne isn’t!
