Gasoline leaks from the carburetors of the combustion engines when first filled creating serious fire and burn hazards. Affected models: G0077210, G0081550, G0076802, G0076722, G0077130, G0081530, G0080620, G0077150, G0076754, G0081540, G0079712, and G0080630.

About 149,400 of these portable generators were sold in the US and an additional 260 were sold in Canada at Home Depot, Lowe’s and other home improvement and hardware stores nationwide and online from May 2025 through February 2026.

Stop filling and using these generators. Check your model and serial number on Generac’s recall website, generac.com/about/recalls/submission-request/ to see if your generator is included. If it is included and has not yet been filled with fuel or has shown leakage after fueling, contact your dealer to arrange a free repair at the dealer’s location. For more information, call Generac at 1-800-396-9951.
