Palm Sunday - one week before Easter - is celebrated by millions of Christians around the world. Often times on this day, people wave palm branches, remembering Jesus’ entrance into Jerusalem as he rode on the back of a donkey (often referred to as the Triumphal Entry). What’s the significance of riding a donkey and waving palm branches - and does it matter? And what if the Triumphal Entry story is different than we realize and has implications on our lives more than we imagine? What if the backstory helps us to see a whole new reality to this story?
