I have been a demographic and social analyst since the 1970s and I have seen lots of predictions.  Are they all wrong? Certainly not!  But unless we use some common sense and measure our predictions, we will lose our shirts and most of our "stuff."  Certainly, the stock market has corrected.  Troubles will befall individuals.  But panic is the road to destruction for everyone.  Even for doctors!
