We have work to do as a church and that work is getting the gospel into the ears of as many people as we can. The gospel message is given away freely and generously. But it isn’t free to have a building. It costs money to do what we do and to have what we have. In this overview of the book of Nehemiah, we see how Nehemiah and the people of Israel took up the important work of rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. God help us to do the same as we work together to pass on the gospel to this and to the next generation. Lord, establish the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands.
