About the Generations In Jazz Foundation: Generations in Jazz is a non-profit public benefit organization dedicated to supporting community music activities. With jazz as our language, we aim to build our communities by providing educational, performance, and cultural opportunities for students and adults. We present opportunities for music education, performances, and other community-based events. We emphasize events that are open to the general public. We support music from diverse cultures and include musicians of all ages and backgrounds. We supplement existing youth music education programs. We support other non-profits and community groups by providing musicians to perform at fund-raising events.
