1. God has been GENEROUS to me2. Because God has been generous to ME, I will be generous to OTHERS.
Matthew 5:14-1614 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
LEGACY - What you leave BEHIND
Living with a GENEROUS mentality will build an ETERNAL legacy.
Living with a ME mentality will leave an EMPTY legacy.
1 Chronicles 29:10-11, 10 David praised the Lord in the presence of the whole assembly, saying,“Praise be to you, Lord,the God of our father Israel,from everlasting to everlasting.11 Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the powerand the glory and the majesty and the splendor,for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
You break free from “Me” when you shift from: “Look what I HAVE” to “Look what God has GIVEN ME”
John 3:12-1712 When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them. 13 “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. 15 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. 16 Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17 Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.
You are never more like Jesus than when you GIVE and when you SERVE
