God reveals His heart to Abram by starting with, "Do not be afraid." We explore how this phrase, repeated often in Scripture, confirms that it is okay to feel fear, yet reminds us that we serve a mighty God who acts as our personal shield and defender. Just as a bodyguard protects a VIP, God protects His own, and He is reminding Abram—and you—that His promise of protection and reward still stands.
