• Both are needed to fulfill what God wants for man

• None of this is with Adam, with man - man does not even know what he is missing

• Cements something in Adam’s mind - there’s no one for me

• Cements the helpmate’s station - alongside Adam

• Because the are suitable for each other the institution of marriage and family is made

• The man leaves their current family bonds

• The man cleaves to his wife (one wife) 

• Publicly establish the covenant between the two

• Have their own family

• Everything was as it should be - no shame and no sin
