We talked about Genesis 3:1-5 and the fall of mankind. Sin is the source of all damage. Natural, Relational, Personal, and Spiritual damage.

God didn't create sin or pain, He created the ability to obey or disobey God.

The serpent is not equal to God but created by God. Satan attacks God's goodness and generosity. Bible reading is the greatest offense and defense against Satans attacks.

God offered Adam and Eve good things by withholding what is not good for them. This is also true for us today.

God is not restrictive, He is protective. His protectiveness is informed by His Omnipresence and Omniscience.
