Today we're reading Genesis 3:1-7. You probably know the story known as the fall of man in Genesis 3. Mankind rebels against God, and there are longterm consequences for the entire world. But, why does this story open with a serpent? Why is he said to be “crafty?” What is with the odd description of the forbidden fruit? And, what if the Hebrew indicates this is not even a snake at all? These are the kinds of questions I didn’t know to ask about this story, but In this video, we’re going to ask them.
