God continues to protect Jacob and commands him to leave Laban's household. There is some question as to whether Jacob demonstrated faith or not in his departure. However God is consistently moving Jacob toward Himself as He pushes Jacob to trust Him. The escape of Jacob will inevitably lead to God Himself meeting Jacob on the way home
