Verse 15, reveals the thrilling prediction of the Cross and the Resurrection, of the Savior's great victory over Satan.  Christ will crush the head of Satan, while suffering a heel wound in the process. This all-important verse is known as the Proto-Evangel, the first Gospel.  Isaiah 53:5; says, But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
