* Genesis 38 seems out of place in the story of Israel.
* vs 24 - Notice Judah’s response to Tamar when he discovered she was pregnant - “let her be burned.”
* vs 26 - Notice Judah’s response after Tamar sent him a message - “she is more righteous than I.”
* What happened in verse 25? CONVICTION.
* How was he convicted? Go back to Genesis 37:32.
* Judah had the plan to lie to his dad about Joseph’s death.
* He told his dad, “please examine (Joseph’s coat).”
* He was deceiving.
* Tamar then says the same thing, “please examine (these articles).”
* He was deceived.
* Judah knew God had dealt with him and he was a changed man.
