Pr Oetla Simankane reflects on the contrast between Cain and Abel. Cain did not offer what God required and his offering was not accepted. Abel obeyed God and his offering was accepted. Cain’s offering reflected his works whereas Abel’s offering reflected his faith in God’s redemptive work through the blood of the Lamb- through the blood of Jesus. We are saved by grace through faith.
