* Unconfessed sin leads to a guilty conscience, to a point when anything bad happens you will attribute it to the sin you committed.

* Twice the brothers attributed Joseph’s harsh behavior to what they had done years later (Gen 42:21 & 44;16).

* vs 27-28 shows they never confessed their sin to their dad.

* Two keys to a guilty conscience:

* 1) If you have not confessed your sin a guilty conscience is meant to clean you up!

* Repent and make it right.

* 2) If you have confessed your sin a guilty conscience is meant to weigh you down.

* Remember that you’re forgiven and receive God’s forgiveness.
