• The Covenant

• The LORD established the Covenant with you

• This is a one sided Covenant

• Established with:

• Noah and his sons

• Every living creature that is with you

• The Covenant includes an absolute (Never Again)

• Shall all flesh be cut off by the waters

• Shall there be a flood to destroy the earth - the earth was destroyed!

• A Sign for the Covenant

• A Sign for you and all future generations (descendents)

• A Bow (Rainbow) in the cloud

• Sign of the covenant between God and the earth (all on the earth as well)

• This serves as a reminder - for God and for man

• Why Canaan and not Ham

• There is no curse of Ham

• Put him beneath his brothers

• A servant of a servant to his brothers

• Noah Blessed Shem and Japheth

• Shem first 

• Canaan be his servant (doubling down)

• Then Japheth

• Make Japheth larger (territory or family or both)

• Dwell with Shem

• Canaan be his servant (tripling down)

• Noah dies at the ripe old age or 950  (penalty for eating the fruit still in effect)
