Welcome back to Through the Bible. Today, we continue with Genesis chapter 7.

In the previous chapter, God gave Noah instructions. Now, those instructions are fulfilled. Noah, his family, and the animals enter the ark, just as God commanded.

Genesis chapter 7 marks the beginning of the flood. The rain falls, the fountains of the deep are broken up, and the waters rise. What was once land becomes covered, and life outside the ark is swept away.

As you listen, notice the precision of God’s timing. Everything happens exactly as He said it would. The door of the ark is shut—not by Noah, but by the Lord.

This chapter reminds us of both judgment and protection. While the world faces destruction, those inside the ark are kept safe. It is a powerful image of refuge.
