Welcome back to Through the Bible. Today, we continue with Genesis chapter 9.
The flood has passed, and Noah and his family step into a new world. In this chapter, God speaks again, establishing a covenant with Noah and all living creatures.
Genesis chapter 9 introduces us to the promise symbolized by the rainbow—a sign that God will never again destroy the earth with a flood. This covenant reflects both God’s mercy and His faithfulness.
As you listen, notice the instructions God gives for life moving forward. Humanity is given responsibility, and new boundaries are set.
This chapter also includes a moment of human weakness. Even after everything Noah has experienced, we see that sin is still present. It is a reminder that while the world has been cleansed, the human heart still needs transformation.
Take a moment to reflect. Genesis chapter 9 shows us both the faithfulness of God and the ongoing need for righteousness.
Now, let us read.
