We end this mini-series on Genesis with some thoughts on what our story can mean to us. The final scene in this story is one that has been sorely misunderstood by 20th century christians. This is the really thorny part with curses, punishments and some really difficult stuff to reconcile - but we miss out on so much when we ignore it!

It isn’t a story about the origins of pain and evil. It’s a story about how different that was to God’s intention. The story, and the news it brings, is good. So, so good.
