In Genesis 3:8-24 we see the relationship that Adam and Eve had with God severed by sin. As often happens in sin, blame is cast on anyone other than the sinner. The consequences of sin are revealed. Hope is promised to the sinner. God covers Adam and Eve's nakedness by sacrificing the life of an animal--a foreshadowing of the sacrifice of His own Son Jesus Christ for the sin of man.
