The Sixth Dimension's Pop R&B singer Mars Luna enlists high school best friends Joshua Luna (Josh), Kainalu Kamai (Nalu) & Holokahiki Toves (Holo) to break down the behind the scenes stories and creative processes of his first EP "Genesis" (available on Spotify & Apple Music). In this inaugural episode, the trio discuss:
- the foundation of their friendship, how they were able to keep it going after high school, and the roles they play in Mars Luna's creative odyssey.
- the origins of the "Mars Luna" name, the events that led up to Josh's decision to pursue music and how the option of pursuing a musical career was always "written in the stars".
- the events that led to the creation of Mars Luna's "Genesis" EP and the song breakdown behind each song (How Can I Live Without You, These Damn Feelings, Set Me Free, Lipstick Blues & Sailboat).
- behind the scenes events of the "Genesis" photoshoot with Josh and Holo, how a cracked mirror led to a sliced finger, the importance of utilizing your resources creatively and why it's necessary to have fun while creating.
