Genesis 28:10-22

BIG IDEA
The Lord will be with His people wherever they go.

TWO connections we can make between what Israel would read and how the New Testament church can apply this message:
1. There is still a link between heaven and earth.
2. There is still a covenant promise.

The covenant promise “to be God to you” consists of THREE specific promises:
1. “Know that I am with you.”
2. “I will keep you wherever you go.”
3. “I will bring you back to this land.”
