Genesis 1 teaches that all of humanity is made in the image of God, with an overarching task - to reflect and represent his glory in all the earth - and royal duties to deliver within his divine remit. We’re a bit like middle-managers - taking on responsibility within our own area of life under his sponsorship and direction.
