Although YeHoVaH rendered judgment on Mr. and Mrs. Adam for their actions of disobedience, they remained in the presence of YeHoVaH. However, after the murder of Abel, Cain went out from the presence of YeHoVaH.  Cain took his wife with him and dwelt in the land of Nod or Wandering on the east of Eden.  Who was Cain’s wife? 

Cain began to populate and built a city which he named after his firstborn Enoch.  Cain’s descendant Lamech broke the protocol of the one man-one wife example practiced by 6 generations established by YeHoVaH.  Lamech married two wives and was the first to engage in polygamy.
