According to the genealogy revealed by Luke in the New Testament, Adam was the son of God/YeHoVaH.  Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness and called his name Seth. Genesis 5 follows key individuals from Seth’s lineage such as Enoch who walked with YeHoVaH, Methuselah, Lamech, and Noah.  Cain was not included in the generations of Adam or recognized as a son of God/YeHoVaH.
