In the upcoming version 5.2 of Genshin Impact, several new weapons and characters are being introduced. One of the notable additions is the 5-star bow, Astral Vulture's Crimson Plumage, which is the best-in-slot bow for the new 5-star character Chasca. This bow will be available in the Phase 1 banner cycle, running from November 20, 2024, to December 11, 2024[1][5].

Another significant addition is the free four-star sword, Calamity of Eshu. This sword boosts Normal and Charged Attack damage by 20-40% and CRIT Rate by 8-16% when the character is protected by a shield. It is particularly versatile and ideal for DPS characters like Ayato and Keqing, who rely on shield users to activate its passive effect[4].

Additionally, two new 4-star weapons are debuting in the version 5.2 weapon banners: Flower-Wreathed Feathers (bow) and Waveriding Whirl (catalyst)[5].

The update also includes other content such as a continuation of the Archon Quest, new areas to explore in Natlan, and quality of life updates. The Phase 2 banner cycle will feature returning 5-star characters Zhongli and Neuvillette, starting from December 11, 2024, to January 1, 2025[1][5].
