This episode felt highly personal and for a moment I felt really strange about it because I felt that this podcast was supposed to straight to the point and focused on Geography. But halfway through writing the notes for the episode I realised that having a career in Geography requires you to get extremely personal. It is a subject that is so broad, that if you do not apply the textbook theories and scientific data to the parts of your life that are unique to you, your community, country and culture, then it remains just as it is... a subject.
Getting personal meant talking about something... and someone that made me decide to do this podcast in the first place and continues to inspire me to do even more things. If this episode doesn't raise some eyebrows I hope it at least raises some questions.
